The 2018 White Horse Challenge was completed on the 8th July 2018.

Course Options

Complete Challenge – £35 per person

The ultimate challenge! This route consists of a 52 mile walk around seven of Wiltshire’s White Horses. Spread across two days, you will begin on the first night in Devizes and walk the 27 miles to Marlborough, where you will have the option to camp for the night. You will then walk the 25 miles back to Devizes on the following day.

One Day Challenge –  £25 per person

If the devotion of an entire weekend isn’t feasible, then this is the perfect option for you. Rather than walk the full 52 miles, you can choose to walk either the 27 miles from Devizes to Marlborough on day one, or the 25 miles from Marlborough to Devizes on day two.

Relay Challenge – £20 per person (Min of 4  people per team)

This event is completely flexible. You can choose how far each member of your team walks and split the course up as you see fit.

Switchover points must be made at checkpoints and planned beforehand. The organisers must be informed of the plan before the event.

Mini Challenge – £10 per person or £50 per team of up to ten people

This is a seven mile walk on the Sunday from Cherhill to Devizes and is ideal for walkers of all ages. We do ask that you ensure you have a ratio of two children per adult in your group.

The camp site at Blackland Lakes, which we will provide transport to and from. We will pick you up from the finishing point on day one and return you to the starting point on day two, just in time for a delicious cooked breakfast.

If you require, the organisers can arrange for your tent to be erected ready for your arrival at the camp site. Please let us know when booking if you would like this service.
